Almost there...

Again, thank you to the wonderful people who have submitted their letters, poems, and journal entries. We are almost there, but we still would like more submissions.

For those who have submitted, I appreciate your patience. We will be contacting everyone with results in the next month or so. To speed that process up, please tell others about the project!

Thank you for your submissions and keep them coming!

We've received 20 submissions so far with half a dozen more expressing interest. Our goal for this first book is 30 entries, however, we'd like at least twice that to make a strong selection. Any writer's that don't make this book will be considered for the next book, as well.

We have received some amazing letters, poems, and journal entries. Keep them coming!

Please! Tell your friends about our project. We're counting on you!

Thank you,

Lewis

An Open Invitation

Submissions to Letters from the Waiting Room have been steady, and I'd like to thank all of you who have submitted. We need a lot more, though, so please let everyone you know about this book project!

We have made the commitment to our submitters not to publish their letters until we make a final decision on inclusion, notify them, and discuss their entry with them. HOWEVER, we welcome any of you to post them here if you wish (don't worry, it won't disqualify you from being published in the book).

In fact, many of our writers have additional poems or letters and you're welcome to post those as well. We would be honored if you would be willing to tell your story - the context of your submission - if you'd like.

Ultimately, this blog is about and for the people interested in the book project, submitting to the project, or desiring to submit.

One final comment before opening this to bloggers: please remain positive and uplifting. Everyone who has submitted and those considering it, are sharing events dear to their heart. Please honor that as we honor them.

To God be the Glory!
